Phrasebook

The past and the present live together. There is a great difference between the generations. Due to the nature of the educational system and entirely different way of living most people above the age of 30 see things in life in a different way. Almost every older person speaks or at least understands Russian.

With younger people things are the opposite, they have grown up with western culture and almost everybody speaks some English.

As you travel its not hard to find someone to help you find your train track, buy a ticket,  rent a room or to ask for direction, but knowing how to read in cyrilyc and a few sentences from our travel phrasebook may be quite usefull.
